Are you in a spiritual drought? A time where prayers are not answered, and you feel as though you have lost your passion for the Lord and His people. Maybe you are just in a survival mode right now and believing that things must get better. You are in miracle territory, my friend! You are now budding, and this is your season to bloom and bear fruit. Spring is on the way!
I want to start with a little botany lesson on fruit trees. In the lifetime of a tree, it must endure the elements of every season. Those frigid winter months, with frost and snow, summer months with drought and pestilence, storms, excessive flooding, and all kinds of extreme conditions. There are months where the trees are barren, however those roots are going down deep to get the nourishment that the tree needs to survive and bear fruit.
Some of you are so tired. You are praying “Lord let me see a glimpse of the fruit of my prayers”. “Lord, I am being faithful, let me see the fruit of my labor”. I want you to be encouraged. The larger the tree, the longer it takes those roots to establish a great foundation with the proper nourishment. The Lord is an on-time God and trust His timing! Use this season to let your roots go down deep with studying the Bible and prayer. Delight yourself in the Lord and stay away from evil. You will bloom and bear fruit. The Lord will give you the strength to survive this spiritual drought. You can do this! I am praying for you today, my friend!
